Lake Ripley
Located on the south side of Litchfield on Highway 22, Lake Ripley has brought fun and relaxation to citizens and visitors alike for over a century. You can walk 4 miles around the lake or sit in the shade by the beach. Lake Ripley has a campground, shelters, Anderson Gardens, volleyball and play areas for the kids. Litchfield Municipal Airport

Located just a couple miles south of town, Litchfield's airport boasts a 4000 foot long asphalt runway which is also 100 foot wide.
The airport can accomodate both jet and propeller aircraft and offers an instrument approach if needed. Both 100 octane and jet fuel are available on a self serve basis. You can use either Visa or Mastercard for your fuel purchases.
While laying over at Litchfield feel free to use our lounge which is located on site or take our courtesy car into town for a bite to eat and to check out our local attractions and establishments.

GAR Hall (Grand Army of the Republic)
Built by the Union Soldiers of the Civil War in 1885, this GAR Hall is the last of its kind in Minnesota. Located on the east side of Litchfield's Central Park, the GAR Hall and Museum will let you view not only Civil War memorabilia but also historical items going back to the days of early settlers in Meeker County. Forest City Stockade
The Forest City Stockade takes you back to 1862 when the Indian Wars broke out. The hastily built fort served as a refuge for the local settlers during those dark days of the war. The Forest City Stockade is located 6 miles Northeast of Litchfield on Highway 24, just south of present day Forest City.
The Forest City Stockade Rendezvous is the 3rd weekend in August. Christmas at the Stockade is the 1st weekend in December. Contact Robert Hermann at 320-693-6782.

Twine Ball
Located in Darwin, MN 7 miles east of Litch on Highway 12, is the world's largest ball of twine made by one man.
Litchfield Golf Course
The beautiful 18-hole golf course decorates Lake Ripely's north side with a clubhouse, gracious dining room and lounge, pro shop and racquetball court. Contact the pro shop at 320.693.6059.
Litchfield Civic Arena
Indoor winter activities at the Civic Arena include ice hockey and broomball. During the summer the arena offers tennis and rollerskating. The Civic Arena is located at 900 North Gilman Avenue. Contact 320.693.2679
