How much time does membership in the Chamber require?

None.  We have benefits for you that won’t take time away from running your business. Your personal involvement will maximize your financial investment.

When is the Chamber’s monthly meeting?

At least once a month there is something happening for members.  We intentionally vary the day of the week and time of day. The lion’s share of our events and meetings happen during “normal” business hours.

We sell our products all over the country (or the world!). What value does the Chamber have for me?

You build your products here. You employ people here. You’ve made an investment in facilities here.  Therefore, the local economy does have an immediate impact on your business.  We’re the only organization looking out for your business interests here.

How will the Chamber promote my business?

Exposure comes naturally when you are a member of the Chamber. Your business becomes a part of everything we offer.

Does the Chamber take a stance on political issues?

Our strong role in advocacy allows you to work on your business, while we work on behalf of your business.  We’re your voice — shielding your business from controversy.

How is the Chamber financed?

The Chamber is financed by our members through dues and fees for programs and services.

Is the Chamber part of the City?

No. The Chamber is a 501(c)6 entity and does not fall under the authority of any unit of government.

What does the Board do?

Sets the strategic direction and vision. Monitors financial performance. Evaluates the Executive Director.

How does the Chamber communicate to its members?

Monthly e-newsletter, website/online resources, 1:1 visits and social media. E-invites for specific notices, meetings, and events.
